I cook in my grandmother’s cast iron skilets all the time. I love them! I have in the past had an anemia problem. Keep an eye out this is a Lodge Logic dutch oven and it goes on sale on Amazon regularly, from what I have read. I have read a whole lot about these dutch ovens and polepe who have both the Le Creuset and the Lodge say that they can find no difference between the quality of the two! But from everything that I have read the handle on the Lodge sometimes melts when in the oven, so it is recommended to purchase the Le Creuset handle and switch them out the new handle is metal and will not melt.
