They are supposed to have less fat and calories. They are twice the size and usually cheaper. So I got 2 and tried them because 1 of the Haas avocados doesn’t feed my family. The have a thinner consistency and seem to have more water in them. I had to use less juice then I am used to when I made guacomole. Here’s my recipe using them. Oh, and a picture.
Set out avocado til ripens (soft and brownish)
Cut in half take out pit.
Scrape out the avocado from the skin using a spoon.
Put in food processor.
Add 1 or 2 cloves of garlic (grated)
1/3- 1/2 of a lemon
pinch of salt
Process. Eat with Chips. It was just as good as Haas to me. My kids were so happy. I actually had a little bit leftover when I normally can’t feed my family with just 1. Mama’s happy, kids are happy. Guacamole is good! What do you make with avocados?
