Smart Bottoms Cloth Diapers Giveaway US

It’s no secret that I have quite the obsession with cloth diapers but it’s hard to find good, quality diapers anymore that are made right here in the U.S.A. so that is why I was so excited to find Smart Bottoms! Smart  Bottoms was started by a fellow mother, Christy Malone, who is also passionate about cloth diapering. Smart Bottoms offers an organic cloth diapering system that is 100% made in the United States. 

 

 

 

We received a Smart One 3.0 cloth diaper from Smart Bottoms in the adorable Grape Soda color. This diaper is made of 100% Organic Cotton and provides a much trimmer diaper than some other brands I have used. The attached insert can be folded to customize where your child needs the most absorbency which provides a total of 10 layers. This is really important to me because every child wets differently, especially when you look at boys vs. girls.  The design allows for quick dry-time and I love that there are actually four settings so you can customize the fit for your child between 8-35 pounds. They also carry waist extenders so you can prolong the life of your Smart Bottom diapers! Another huge plus is the wider elastic around the legs. I hate diapers that leave red marks and imprints and we don’t have this problem with Smart Bottoms. As an added bonus, only 100% certified organic cotton is used for the inside of their diapers. This means that your baby’s bottom is not being exposed to harmful pesticide residue or petroleum based fabrics. This is super important to me. I have seen babies who have the most horrendous diaper rash all of the time and this is a great way to eliminate that. We have had zero issues with this diaper and as a matter of fact, it’s probably one of the best cloth diapers we have seen. It fits perfectly, it’s not bulky so we don’t have to get bigger clothes to fit over it and we have had no leaks at all, not even at naptime. The fact that it is adorable is just the icing on the cake for me. We love using this diaper under dresses, it’s just too cute!

 

 

 

Christy mentions on the website how so many families are missing out on cloth diapering because many parents today who were cloth diapered  as babies were diapered with old fashioned pre-folds, pins and rubber pants. I tend to agree. Whenever I mention cloth diapers to people who haven’t been introduced to today’s cloth diapers, most of them turn their nose up at me because they just don’t know what’s on the market today!
