My angels are growing up before my eyes. I have one that is actively being pursued by colleges right now. I know one thing for sure, we will be renting his textbooks if we can from Campus Book Rentals. The ones we can’t rent from them we will be renting through them to other students through their sister site Rentback. I’m so glad that the book stores are not the only ones able to make money now. We, as parents, can too when we choose to rent the college textbooks back to other students and families. It’s a win win. You save money by renting in the first place or if you have to purchase then you can make money off your books by renting them to others. I love that!
To me this is an example of a forward thinking company. They make money whether we are renting from them or renting through them. This is original, new and progressive. I am beyond impressed. I’d rather go through them and use their rentback program than to go to the bookstore and make back pennies on the dollars that I spent through them. A book could cost you $79 and when you go to sell it back you might be lucky to make $15. That’s ridiculous! Make sure you bookmark them for later use when your kids are getting ready for college. You can use them one way or another!
