How to roast a Butternut Squash

I love so many different kinds of squash. When I was growing up I was only familiar with yellow crooked neck squash. I had no idea what all I was missing. I make butternut squash a few times a year. My kids like it just as much as I do. Here’s how you make it. You start with a squash that looks like this.

Wash it. Once you cut it in half then place it down on a sprayed or greased baking pan. Like this.

Bake in a *400 oven for 25-28 minutes. Pull out of the oven and it should look like this.

Scrape out the seeds.

And finally dinner!

Dinner is served. Don’t be afraid of vegetables you’ve never cooked. They are chances for you to expand you and your children’s palate! Enjoy!
