And now my friend Teresa Williams review of the Marriage Bargain.
When I first started reading this book in reminded me slightly of the Pretty Woman movie, except that the main female character in this book is not a prostitute. This story is about a mega-rich, extremely handsome man who is looking to hire an actress to be his temporary wife so he doesn’t have to marry the woman his father has picked out for him. She gets to live abroad and everything she wants or needs will be taken care of for her.
The story line is predictable, but I found myself wanting to keep reading to make sure everything happened the way I wanted it to. Needless to say I was not disapointed. I love books that make me feel like I am actually a part of the story and takes me out of reality for a while. Who doesn’t want to be able to live abroad and have every need or wish taken care of with no worry about where the money is coming from? Oh and having a very handsome man taking care of all those things isn’t bad either. This was a fun and easy read.
Thank you Teresa!
