It’s summertime and it’s hot. I don’t like to heat up my kitchen to make a baked potato. So here’s what I came up with the other day. I cooked my potatoes for 3 hours in my slowcooker. It worked wonderful and we all had baked potatoes with no heat increased in my kitchen. It was so nice. Here’s how. <\/p>\n

Wash your potatoes thoroughly. <\/p>\n

Prick the potatoes with a knife.<\/p>\n

Roll up aluminum foil and put in the bottom of the slow cooker. <\/p>\n

Cook on low for 3-4 hours. <\/p>\n

Add your sour cream, bacon bits, butter, broccoli, chili and whatever toppings you enjoy! <\/p>\n

That’s it. It was that easy. I hope you enjoy your baked potatoes and that you enjoy not heating up your house. <\/p>\n
