\u201cGo away,\u201d I told the bright figures who came to comfort me.  \u201cMy mom is sick, and she might die.  I don\u2019t want to play with you!  Just leave me alone.\u201d In frustration, I began pushing the bright figures away as I became more fixated by my mother\u2019s suffering. <\/p>\n

\u201cI said, leave me alone,\u201d I shouted.<\/p>\n

\u201cProtect us,\u201d I thought to myself, but from what?  All I knew is that they weren\u2019t protecting me from the students that were hurting me. <\/p>\n

\u201cOk, Ma,\u201d I said.  Seeing her so happy and confident was enough for me to not ask for more explanation.  I just wanted her to be well.  I always went to bed quickly when I sensed that my mother had a good night of health, but waking up startled isn\u2019t fun, let me tell you.<\/p>\n

 \u201cWhy are you standing at the end of my bed?  Is it because I won\u2019t play with you?\u201d  The bright glowing figure just stood there not paying much attention to me as he appeared to have been just standing watch.  \u201cFine,\u201d I said throwing the blankets over my head.  \u201cIf you\u2019re not gonna talk, then leave.\u201d  When I removed the blanket from my head, the glowing figure was gone. <\/p>\n
