This is the question my hubby is currently asking me.  We will celebrate it in June 2013. He asked if I wanted jewelry. I’m not really a jewelry person I have some pieces I wear daily. But I don’t swap them out too much. So, of course I said no to that. I want experiences now! He asked me if I wanted to go to Athens or maybe Paris. Of course I shouted yes to both. His mean spirited side came out and he said, Ok. Athens, GA and Paris, TN it is. Har dee har har! What’s wrong with him.

So then I really started thinking. What do I want? I would love to visit Waikiki, HI. To go to Waikiki hotels and enjoy the sun, surf and beach is a dream of mine. Maybe one day. My cousin is there too. I’d love to visit her and get to know her better like I knew her when we were younger. (Hi, LB!) 🙂 The problem is that this is a vacation we can not afford right now.

So, I need inexpensive anniversary ideas for our 20th. We always thought we’d have more money and be able to travel the world at this point. But with 3 children, 3 pets, a home, etc we don’t tend to have enough extra money to travel. We travelled to Chicago (somewhere I had wanted to visit) this summer and came back early to save money! LOL And to be honest, I’m just not a big city girl.

What’s your dream 20th wedding anniversary trip/activity/item? I’m curious what you guys would do on your anniversary. Let’s be honest I’d love to go to Waikiki but a night at the Hampton Inn down the road without children may be all we do! A pool and a night to sleep uninterrupted by children sounds like heaven!
