What does it cost to be beautiful? I’d have to say I have no idea. I, only know what it costs to be me. Some women do feel the need to get some work done to help slow the aging process from appearing on their beautiful faces. This seems to begin usually in their forties. Crap, that’s where I’m at! Others think they are beautiful regardless. I’m of the mindset if I had lots of money and could get a few things done I most definitely would. But I wouldn’t put my family into debt for it.

If you look at what breast implants cost today I think you’d actually be surprised. The problem is that insurance typically doesn’t pay for it for just cosmetic reasons. If you have cancer or some other disease and might need to have reconstructive surgery I would hope that the insurance company could look at that differently. It’s hard to come up with thousands of dollars when you just had chemotherapy and radiation. Being beautiful after being sick would probably help you feel better.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Funny thing is I’m not one to have to leave the house with make up on, every time I leave. I sometimes put on my make and sometimes I just don’t. I do not spend a lot of money on beauty products either. It’s all about priorities and what is important to you. If you feel that surgery would help your self esteem and make you feel more confident then you go get it done. No judgement here. We live in a great country where we can all do whatever we want to make us feel beautiful.
