Where does the time go? Wasn’t he just a baby yesterday? How is it possible I had to watch my hubby teach my son to shave yesterday. He used a disposable razor so no need to mess with razors blades. My sweet husband did it right. He explained everything that needed to be done in small sequential steps.
First, wash your face with warm water or take a shower and wash it there. But, if you shower shave as soon as you get out. This softens the skin and makes it easier to shave.
Use warm water and fill the sink with an inch or so of water. Use this to rinse your razor and knock off the hairs that attach themselves to the razor. Apply the shaving cream all over your face. Not your nose, son.
On your cheeks make sure you shave going down with the hair. On your neck make sure you shave up. At the chin line it gets tricky. He just shaves across going with the bone. This is his routine and what works for him. But looking at my son he said he thinks my son’s hair is going to grow the same way. New milestones every day. It’s hard to believe he needs to shave. I still think of him as that sweet 18 month old throwing a fit in the grocery store. We have to let them grow up whether we want to or not. They’re going to anyway!
This is a sponsored post for The Art of Shaving, however, all the points and views are my own.
