how did I get this old? He’s about to turn 15 and she’s in his criminal justice class. They’re both freshmen. Her dad is home today and giving him all kinds of funny warnings. Like his favorite song is “cleaning my shotgun”. Which are all things I know my dh will be saying when it’s our turn.

Well, it’s a harmless date. The couple will be chaperoned by a little brother and a little sister and mom. Extra chaperones in the form of friends. We got it covered. Plus we’re going to see Puss and Boots. I think they’ll have fun. It should be very sweet. Wish us luck. My dh has asked me to sneak a picture so he can see what she looks like. lol It’s fun being the parents and getting to plan all the ways to torture your teenager.
