This sounds like it would be a dream to cook in during the summer. I hate to bake meals in the summer so that it then heats up my already hot house. this may be my answer to next summers heatwave. I’d love to have one myself just for that reason. It looks like a great appliance to add.
The Kenmore Elite Digital Countertop Convection Oven is definitely one of your more affordable options in the market.
With the versatility and performance of a full-size oven, this Kenmore Elite digital countertop convection oven offers a more convenient way to cook. Large enough to accommodate a 12-inch pizza, this toaster oven features six cooking functions and an LED display for easy digital use. Three wire racks and a pan help you get crafty in the kitchen, while the 1800-watt quartz heating technology makes short work of baking, toasting and reheating. Finished with a brushed stainless steel exterior, this toaster oven enhances your kitchen’s decor.
It took less than 4 minutes to heat up and an additional 15 minutes at 300 degrees Fahrenheit to cook to the extent the kids like it.
With this oven you can bake, broil, toast or warm your dish of choice. Temperature and cook times are pre-set for certain functions but you can change the same based on requirement.
I love that the oven heats up quicker than my large sized oven and being convection, continues to give me the same results as the larger one. I do have to make sure I reduce bake times for some recipes as I’ve noticed my cookies brown quicker, my kebabs get cooked sooner and cheese on my pre-cooked naan pizzas melts faster.
I would recommend also being careful not to touch the sides of the oven as it tends to get quite hot when baking/broiling/toasting and warming.
I know I will be using this so much more during warmer months here in Texas. Thankfully it graces my countertop beautifully with its sleek stainless steel housing, LED displays and chrome casing. And it doesn’t take up too much counter space next to my cookbooks.
