It’s my favorite time of the year. The time for us to focus on what really matters. Family. My hubby and I are having a great year together. After 14 years of it being all about the children we finally have one child old enough to babysit. So, him and I get out regularly to have errand dates. I know it’s an errand but it’s an errand with my best friend and we are alone for that short time period. It is awesome! I’m so glad to finally be in this stage in my life. It’s been a long time coming. For those of you with small children still, your day will come. The days of babies fly by. Before long they are having girlfriends and learning to drive. But, with that comes some freedom as parents. I am loving being able to date my hubby again. Even if it’s at the grocery store or the drug store. It’s still time alone with my best friend. A time for us to remember why it is we got together in the first place. Merry Christmas friends. My wish for you is that you find your best friend in your significant other! Happy Holidays.
