Takumi Japan wants to share what is going on during Japan week. Japan week NY is the week of March 6-8, 2014, in New York. During this week it’s the event coordinator’s desire to share the new Japanese businesses that are excelling and expand them to new markets. Here you will see the design and craftsman of Japanese artisans who also share their traditions. You will be able to taste delicious regional Japanese food. They will share technology exhibits as well as traditional arts and dance to inspire you to more thoroughly. Takumi translates to artisans. Make sure you make a point to head to New York and check out Japanweek.us.
As one who loves to cook I would check out their amazing food looking for things to make for my family. The quality artisans and craftsmen that they showcase would be an amazing site to see. Their computer graphics being shared of the digital archives will be touching to say the least. To taste the regional Japanese food would be an added bonus. If you are close to New York during the week of March 6-8, 2014 make sure you make it a point to check out what all is going on during Japanweek.jp. You will find it at Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall, in honor of Tokyo Station’s centennial. You will not be sorry you did. If you’re looking to support small local artisans and craftsmakers then this is one fantastic way to meet them. Let the craftsmen draw you in with their intricate designs and detail. Enjoy tasting traditional Japanese food and learning about another culture while you are at Japan Week.
