Mom’s work so hard all day every day. The kids, laundry, dishes, working, chauffeuring, secretary moms do it all. Let’s try to take time out of our busy day to treat ourselves right every day. You must take time for you. How are you recharging your battery’s if you are not on the list? Put yourself on the list.
For those that love these special moms there are things you can do to make their day brighter. Here are some things that moms will appreciate if you can’t afford to do too much.
1. Give her the day off. Take the kids and go to the park, canoeing on the river or lake, or just take them out to go for a bike ride and give her some time to soak up the quiet of the house.
2. Make breakfast or lunch. She doesn’t care if you can cook or not. Try. Look up a simple recipe and make some lunch for the kids.
3. Let her sleep in. I think that one says it all.
4. Do the chore she most hates. You know the chore she puts off til you can’t put it off anymore. Do it for her. She will love you for it.
5. Give her a book (can be one on the shelf that you know she’s not read or a free one for her kindle) and tell her to go back to her room for the day.
You can definitely tell I have 3 kids. But I love them and my hubby. These things do not cost a dime but will mean the world to her. She will be ready to face next week and feel like super woman.
