It’s summertime and it’s hot. I don’t like to heat up my kitchen to make a baked potato. So here’s what I came up with the other day. I cooked my potatoes for 3 hours in my slowcooker. It worked wonderful and we all had baked potatoes with no heat increased in my kitchen. It was so nice. Here’s how.
Wash your potatoes thoroughly.
Prick the potatoes with a knife.
Roll up aluminum foil and put in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 3-4 hours.
Add your sour cream, bacon bits, butter, broccoli, chili and whatever toppings you enjoy!
That’s it. It was that easy. I hope you enjoy your baked potatoes and that you enjoy not heating up your house.
